Moto C Plus Budget smartphone to launch in India on June 19

Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch a new budget smartphone in India. The company has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for June 19, where it will unveil the Moto C. The invite reads, "Contemporary, captivating, colossal, yes, it's that cool! Come witness the unveiling of power-packed and stylish new Moto C Plus."
The Moto C Plus is identical in appearance to the recently-launched Moto C, but comes with slightly better specifications.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. It's powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, paired with 1GB/2GB of RAM. There's also 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, which can record HD videos.
Moto C Plus packs a 4,000mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Motorola recently launched its Moto C smartphone in India at Rs 6,999. The device comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display of 480x854 pixel resolution. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards. There's a 5MP rear camera with LED flash included in the mix as well. Moto C comes in single-SIM and dual-SIM configurations.
The smartphone is available in both 3G and 4G versions. It's backed by a 2,350mAh battery and offers 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
