Redmi Note 7 Pro Notable Features:

While the Redmi Note 7 Pro definitely looks like a pretty impressive smartphone from Xiaomi. First off, it looks good thanks to the 2.5D curved glass design on both the front and the back. Plus, there’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the back so it won’t get scratched up easily. Of course, there’s a Type-C port here as well, and the phone retains the headphone jack. The best part though, is that the phone uses the Sony IMX586 48MP camera, unlike the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, and it supports 4K video recording at 30FPS.

Xiaomi Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus Launch Set for December 7; 18:9 Displays Teased

Xiaomi Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus will be launched on December 7 in China. The Chinese electronics firm made the announcement on Weibo, and the post refers to a 'full screen' display, something corroborated by the accompanying image. Xiaomi is evidently planning on launching the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus with 18:9 aspect ratio displays. Alongside, two variants of a new Xiaomi smartphone with an 18:9 display have also shown on up on the site of Chinese telecommunications certification authority TENAA, and it appears to be the Redmi 5.

As we mentioned, the Weibo post by Xiaomi doesn't reveal much about the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, except their taller than usual 18:9 displays, and the launch date. However, the TENAA listings of the MDE1 and MDT1 shows a very similar smartphone, complete with a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) 18:9 display. Presumably, with the increased height and removal of the hardware capacitive buttons, Xiaomi has managed fit a larger 5.7-inch display into a smaller frame closer to the original Xiaomi Redmi 4. The TENAA listing, first spotted by Fonearena, shows the smartphone to be significantly larger than the 5-inch display bearing Redmi 4 in terms of dimensions, despite seeming the forego the hardware capacitive buttons in front. Slashleaks also corroborates the Redmi 5 listing, with its own matching leaked renders and specifications. It adds a CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 13, 600) price, and claims the first sale will be on December 10.
TENAA lists the MDE1 and MDT1, thought to be the Redmi 5, to sport a 1.8GHz octa-core SoC, which is speculated to either be the Snapdragon 450 or Snapdragon 625 - this latter seems less likely, as the Redmi 4 sported a Snapdragon 435 SoC and the company can be expected to follow through with another Snapdragon 400-Series processor.
The purported Redmi 5 listing on TENAA mentions three RAM options - 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB - as well as three storage options - 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB - which can be expected to correspond in individual SKUs. Storage is said to be expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The smartphone is listed with a 3200mAh battery - significantly smaller than the Redmi 4's 4100mAh offering. It is said to sport 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Dimensions are listed as 151.8x72.8x7.7mm, and a weight of 157 grams. The smartphone is listed to run Android 7.1.2, tipping an MIUI 9 build out-of-the-box. The fingerprint scanner can be seen on the rear panel.
The Redmi 5 Plus on the other hand, based on previous leaks, can be expected to sport a Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 630 SoC, different RAM and storage variants, and a larger 4000mAh battery. We don't have long to wait however before the December 7 launch, when Xiaomi can be expected to reveal everything about the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.

Apple iPhone X price in India at Rs89,000, iPhone 8 sale starts 29 Sep

The Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will launch in India on 29 September—a week after they go on sale in the US—while the top-end iPhone X will debut on 3 November. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available for Rs64,000 onwards whereas the iPhone X starts at Rs89,000.
Consumers have more reason to cheer as Apple Inc. has also slashed prices of previous generation handsets—iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus—by as much as Rs8,300.
The latest instalment from Apple will compete head-on with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that will be available in India from 21 September for Rs 67,900.
The iPhone X, which marks the ten-year anniversary of the launch of the first iPhone, will make its way into India from 3 November—the same day as the US. Packed with features like facial recognition and super retina display, the iPhone X is the “biggest leap forward since the original iPhone”, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook. “With iPhone X, Apple has added a new category where it can target loyal users to upgrade to a ‘premium plus’ segment, while users of older generation iPhones—iPhone 5 or 6—can still upgrade to iPhone 7 or 8 series,” Counterpoint Research associate director Tarun Pathak said, adding that in India, he expects initial sales to be high with Apple loyalists upgrading to the new devices, irrespective of pricing or value addition from the previous generation iPhone.
Consumers looking for more affordable options in the Apple ecosystem can opt for iPhone 7 (32GB) that will now be available for Rs49,000 (cheaper by Rs7,200) or iPhone 7 Plus (32GB) for Rs59,000, a reduction of Rs8,300. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (available in 64GB and 256GB variants) will start retailing in the US on 22 September but will be available in India from 29 September, Apple said in a statement.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 now available in limited edition Lake Blue

Xiaomi has announced a limited edition variant of the Redmi Note 4. Called Lake Blue, this light blue variant will only be available in the top of the line 4/64GB variant starting September 4, 12PM.
The Lake Blue isn't just another variant but part of the initiative to clean up the lakes in the city of Bengaluru in India. Over the years the city has lost many of its lakes to encroachment and in the very recent past, existing lakes have become victim of pollution due to industrial waste.
Xiaomi's 'Wake the lake' project is part of the nation's overall Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Initiative) but will focus on cleaning the lakes in Bengaluru (where Xiaomi India is based) and work with the local government to plant more trees, setting up benches, setting up solar lights, outdoor fitness center with children's play area and toilets around the Kempambudhi Kere lake.

Jio Phone

Jio Phone की बुकिंग कब शुरू होगी?

Jio Phone की बुकिंग 24 अगस्त को शाम 5 बजे के बाद से माय जियो ऐप, आधिकारिक वेबसाइट और अधिकृत रिलायंस जियो ऑफलाइन रिटेल स्टोर से शुरू होगी।

Jio Phone

Motorola to Launch Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force on July 25: What We Know So Far

Motorola has already confirmed that they will be unveiling the first flagship smartphones of 2017- the Moto Z2 and the Moto Z2 Force. As seen with most of the smartphones released this year, both the Moto Z2 and Z2 Force have leaked numerous times, which allegedly confirmed all the specs of both devices, and some even gave a look at how the smartphones look.

Smaller Battery on Moto Z2 Force
Motorola surprised everyone by releasing the Moto Z2 Play with a smaller battery, compared to the last year’s Moto Z Play. And the same is going to happen with the Moto Z2 Force as well. According to some reports surfaced online, Motorola is shaving off the battery size of the Moto Z2 Force by 20 percent to make the device thinner. The battery to be used in the Z2 Force will be a 2730mAh unit, which is disappointing and nowhere comes close to other flagship phones battery capacity of minimum 3000mAh. The battery on the Moto Z2 will be even smaller because it would be a thinner smartphone than the Z2 Force.
Moto Z2 Force to Have a Shatterproof Display
While last year’s Moto Z2 Force arrived with a shatterproof display and a massive battery, this year’s Moto Z2 Force will just have a shatterproof display to separate it from the standard Moto Z2. The Moto Z2 doesn’t have a shatterproof display, but the display is expected to be covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. And the displays would be a 5.5-inch Quad HD panels on both phones.

Dual Camera Setup
Well, the Moto Z2 and Z2 Force are set to become Motorola’s first dual camera smartphones. The Moto Z2 & Moto Z2 Force will arrive with twin 12MP cameras at the back, as opposed to the single camera unit seen on the first generation Moto Z lineup. The front-facing camera of 5MP will remain the same, which will come with dual LED flash support on both the phones.
Powered by Snapdragon 835 Chipset
The Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM (the US version). Rest of the world will get a much powerful 6GB of RAM variant. The internal storage in the phone will be 64GB, while the Chinese Moto Z2 Force will have 128GB of internal storage. However, the Indian launch of the Moto Z2 Force is still a mystery because the company did not launch the Moto Z Force in the country for some unknown reasons.

Moto Mods Support
Same as the first generation Moto Z smartphones, the Moto Z2 and Z2 Force will have support for Moto Mods, which allows you to swap accessories from the back of the phone. That said, both the Moto Z2 and Z2 Force will support first generation Moto Mods.

Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone: Will Mukesh Ambani announce it at AGM tomorrow?

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani will address the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) on July 21, and all eyes will be on announcements regarding Reliance Jio and whether there will be new products around the service. For sometime, we have seen leaks around the Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone and it remains to be seen whether this will be finally unveiled. It is learnt that there will be at least one “consumer-centric” announcement by Ambani at the event.
According to reports in the Business Standard, Foxconn is manufacturing the Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone, though another report in the Economic Times is claiming that Intex will be manufacturing most of these feature phones. The Reliance Jio LYF branded feature phone could be priced under Rs 1500, though previously reports have pegged the price to be as low as Rs 500. However, the latter is unlikely given that this would mean Jio will need to heavily subsidise the phone.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 6GB RAM, 64GB Inbuilt Storage Variant Launched: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi was expected to launch a smartphone with 6GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 800 series SoC, and a 4000mAh battery on Tuesday. Speculation had pointed to the launch of the Mi 6 Plus variant, however, Xiaomi had something else up its sleeve. The company on Tuesday instead launched a new variant of the Mi Note 2, sporting 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, putting all rumours to rest.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 had been launched in October last year, with dual-edged curved glass on both the front and back. The smartphone was launched in three variants: a 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model, a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model, and a Global Edition 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model with support for global LTE brands. The newest variant completes the lineup, adding a 6GB/ 64GB storage model - offering users who are interested in 6GB of RAM but willing to settle for less storage at a lower price point. The smartphone is already available to buy in China, and will only be offered in a Black colour variant for now.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 price

The new Xiaomi Mi Note 2 variant with 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage has been priced at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs. 27,500). As we mentioned, this falls right in between the other models, and will be very attractive those wanting a 6GB RAM variant for less. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model is priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 26,600), a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 31,300), and the Global Edition 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 33,200).

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) Xiaomi Mi Note 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. It sports a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Oled flexible display with a 77.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 110 percent NSTC gamut. Sharp's upcoming bezelless smartphone stars in a leaked image

Sharp is going to announce a couple of bezelless smartphones on July 17. Now that we're just five days away from that event, an image reportedly showing one of the upcoming devices has been leaked in China. Interestingly (or oddly, rather), the way it's framed quite perfectly matches a teaser photo of the Essential phone by Android co-founder Andy Rubin.
That said, Sharp's handset does have a slightly different design language, though it too seems to incorporate the front-facing camera through a cutout in the middle of the screen. The device will most likely have its fingerprint scanner on the rear, according to the source of the leaked image.

Sharp's bezelless handsets will bear the model numbers FS8010 and FS8016, and the only rumored difference between these will be the chipset used: while the FS8016 will be powered by the Snapdragon 660, the FS8010 will have to make do with the SD830.
They will both sport a 5.5-inch 2,048x1,080 touchscreen, dual 12 MP rear cameras, an 8 MP selfie snapper, 4 or 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be on board.

Bezelless Sharp FS8010 and FS8016 to arrive on July 17

Sharp did the whole 'nearly bezelless' thing in the smartphone world way before the Xiaomi Mi Mix made it cool last year. And now the Japanese company is getting ready to take things to the next level, if a new rumor out of China is accurate.
An unnamed source has revealed that Sharp will launch two devices that will be very close to the Mi Mix in terms of design, just with a much smaller chin. The FS8010 and FS8016 will be identical in all respects but one - the chipset chosen to power them.
While the FS8016 will go with the Snapdragon 660, the FS8010 will settle for the Snapdragon 630. Both of these chips were made official last month.
The other specs for the new FS phones are as follows: a 5.5-inch 2,048x1,080 display, at least a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, dual 12 MP rear cameras, and 4 or 6GB of RAM. They will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
All of the above specs have basically been confirmed by an AnTuTu benchmark run performed by the FS8010, except for a slight discrepancy in screen resolution - the benchmark says it's 2,040x1,080. AnTuTu also adds new elements to the puzzle, revealing that the selfie camera is an 8 MP unit and internal storage will be 64GB.
The Sharp FS8010 and FS8016 are expected to become official at an event on July 17.

Google Pixel 2 Phones Leak Tips Design and Specifications

While there have been several leaks about the upcoming second generation Pixel smartphones in recent months, the specifications of the handsets have now allegedly been leaked on the Internet. Though both Walleye and Taimen, tipped codenames of the successors to Pixel and Pixel XL respectively, have been tipped to feature Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM, their designs are expected to be different from each other.
First coming to the larger variant of the upcoming Pixel 2 series of smartphones, 'Taimen' Pixel XL 2 will feature a 5.99-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display that will be manufactured by LG, as per an XDA Developers source who has reportedly handled at least one of the two Pixel devices. This sits in line with the earlier report that suggested that Google will be using LG AMOLED displays on the upcoming Pixel smartphone.
While Taimen has been tipped to feature narrower bezels than the Pixel XL, the smartphone is still said to retain a similar glass and metal design like its predecessor. Notably, the glass part is said to be reduced and no longer includes the fingerprint sensor within it, as per the XDA report. The smartphone will reportedly be made by LG, which goes in line with information leaked earlier.
As mentioned earlier, Taimen is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at up to 2.45GHz and will pack 4GB of RAM. Interestingly, the smartphone has been tipped to feature a single rear camera with dual-LED flash support. If you were expecting dual cameras, now is the time to sigh.
While the presence of 128GB storage variant has been suggested, other variants are also likely to be introduced.
Moving to the smaller variant of the Pixel 2 smartphone, Walleye is said to come with a 4.97-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. Just like the larger variant, it is also expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC and pack 4GB of RAM. Notably, Walleye has been suggested to come in a 64GB storage variant as well, which was missing from last year's models.
In terms of design, the Walleye is said to feature "almost identical" design as the original Pixel smartphone but ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack to make way for a set of stereo speakers. This means that the successor to the Pixel smartphone will feature the same thick bezels that were present on last year's model.
Interestingly, the pre-production software on the Taimen referred to the fingerprint sensor as 'Nexus Imprint' while the one on Walleye referred to the same as 'Pixel Imprint', as per the XDA Developers report. This could potentially indicate a difference in terms of branding that the smartphones will be offered under.
Previous leaks have suggested that Google has ditched the third variant of the smartphone that was earlier under consideration and Taimen is going to be largest among the Pixel 2 variants that will be launched by the company.
However, as these are leaks, we would advise our readers to take this information with a pinch of salt till the official confirmation from the search giant comes through.
